[dohtml]

There was nothing more that Wyatt hated than getting up early on a day that he had off, but today was a different circumstance. He wanted to get a run in before he met with his mom and step-dad for lunch. He had been wanting to talk to them about something he had been contemplating for a while now. It was already perfect to him that he got to see the love of his life on a daily basis. After a long day at work, he knew he always had something to look forward to. He laced up his shoes and headed out the door. He started off with a brisk walk. Thankfully it wasn’t super windy or rainy anymore.

Once he got to the beach, he turned up his music and started on his run. He was trying to get his training in as often as possible for a run he was doing in late November. It was to benefit pediatric cancer research at a hospital nearby. Wyatt was always a sucker for causes like that. Once his run was done he started walking again until he got back to his place. He quickly got undressed and hopped in the shower. The water felt amazing against his skin. He got dressed and headed for the restaurant. Lunch went by relatively quickly, but it was nice. His mom had cried like twice, but it wasn’t bad or anything.

Wyatt headed home, looking in the fridge to see what he wanted to make for dinner. He decided to head down to the grocery store down the street to grab some steaks. He was in a bit of a grilling mood and he always liked getting them freshly cut whenever he made them. He grabbed a few other things to make sides with and a bottle of wine and headed towards the checkout.

Wyatt had finally taken advantage of his day off though technically he was working. It wasn’t his case but he felt like he owed it to her to check on her. It had been months since he had talked to Victoria. They had gotten set up with each other earlier in the year by a couple of their friends who knew each other. She was an amazing woman from what he had seen. It was just that life got in the way and nothing else ever became of it so when he heard her name through the precinct, he couldn’t help but be intrigued. He was glad to see that it wasn’t anything too high profiled. There just seemed to be a bit of a misunderstanding. One of the officers was already handling the case, but he wanted to know how she was.

Checking his phone to see if he still had her number and luckily he did. He sent her a text asking if they could meet up for coffee. He knew it was probably random and maybe she wouldn’t even show up, but he couldn’t just do nothing. That wasn’t who he was. Getting dressed, he left his apartment and headed for his car. It took him about ten minutes before he got there. He found a table near the window and sat nearby so he could hopefully see when she got there.

Wyatt had been sitting in his squad car, eating the grilled chicken salad that Sally had brought him for lunch. Sally was a clerk at the PD and she was a really nice lady. She was always bringing stuff for lunch or snacks and Wyatt never failed to take advantage of it, always thanking her of course. He watched a little girl and her mom and smiled, thinking about his sister and his little niece. It had been so long since he had seen them and honestly he did miss them, but after they moved, it made it a bit harder to keep in touch, at least for him it did. He would have to remember to call and check on her later and see how his Sophie was doing.

Wyatt recalled the last time he had talked to their mom. She was always on him about why he wasn’t dating anyone or why he hadn’t given her a grandchild yet. Wyatt would often sarcastically respond, saying that he put his order in with the stork, he just hadn’t gotten around to it yet. It wasn’t that Wyatt didn’t want all that someday, he did. He just wanted it with the right person, not the first person who he had come upon. He thought that things with Jamie were going well, but after a few months, it started to go downhill. They fought more than they were happy it seemed and Wyatt and Jamie both knew that was no way for a relationship to last.

He took a sip from his bottle of Cola. He had promised that he wouldn’t drink it, but quickly switched to that he wouldn’t drink it as often. A buddy of his had shown him a video of all the stuff they use Coke for and it had honestly made him cringe for a bit, but drinking it now, it was just so good. Wyatt finished up the remaining of his lunch before settling back in and pulled out of his parking spot, starting to make his rounds.

So this is something I've been wanting to do for a while and after seeing Love and Other Drugs last night I decided to try this again. So this is a wanted ad for Anne Hathaway to be played against...you guessed it, Jake Gyllenhaal. Now before we get into the plot detais, this will not be a replica of the plot of the movie. I just love these two together. So with that being said, here we go. So Wyatt is a cop for the Savannah Hills Police department, He's been trying to work his way up the ladder, but he's always been the patient guy. Wyatt met ___________ about two years ago, after answering a call to a domestic depute. A week after that, he went by to check on her and pretty much assigned himself to be her "guardian angel". They hung out a time or two and Wyatt really liked her and they started dating and now here we are. Now Wyatt has been working on a case against these guys who are distributing drugs on the city and he wants to put it to a stop, especially after his next door neighbor's son, who was like a brother to him OD'ed and died last month so it's become an obsession almost for him. He's getting close and lets just say these guys don't like that he's being so persistent so they watch him for a bit and find out about ______________ and realize that's their way to get to him. They wait outside of her work place late one evening and then bam, grab her, tie her up, and toss her in a van and speeds away. So that's pretty much all I want to go through now. I want us to start a little bit before the kidnapping and work our way up to that to sort of get ourselves in tune with the characters. That's all though, thanks to anyone who takes her.

[Player must be: Active, open minded, and patient]
