[dohtml]<div class='postcolor'> <center><div style="width:350px; text-align:justify; font-size:11px; color:#000; line-height:100%; padding-top:2px;">The only thing getting her through this week was that she had two consecutive days off with nothing to do and then Monday she had an interview with another network. She still wouldn’t be anchoring anytime soon, but her position would be a little bit different with a little more responsibility and who knew what could happen in a few months or even a year. Julie was just sick of living her life on hold. She told herself that she was done feeling sorry for herself and she was done letting others decisions affect her decisions. She hadn’t talked to Grant and she wasn’t sure if she ever would again honestly. There was part of her that still thought about him, yearned for his touch on those lonely nights, but she couldn’t allow herself to be consumed by that.
If he wanted time to figure out his next move, Julie could have respected that, but she wasn’t going to sit here waiting for something that as months passed, she wasn’t even sure was going to happen. She cared about him a lot. She maybe even let herself believe that they might have had a future together if things didn’t get messy, but even against the best of efforts it had come out that way and she just didn’t know what else there was to do. She started on her usual tasks of making sure the reporters had what they needed, that she had gotten the coffee and doughnuts and stuff all set up. “Another glorious morning…”, she mumbled to herself.

She couldn’t clearly see his face to know if he was just drinking to wind down or if it was because he was stressed but she had a feeling that it was the latter. He had seemed a lot more stressed the past couple of weeks. She tried not to take it personally though. She knocked on the door before letting herself in. “Hi”, she said with a weak smile. “I just…um…I was on my way home and I passed by and saw your car was still here. I figured I’d come and say hi…see if you were okay since I hadn’t really gotten a chance to talk to you today.” She hated when she started rambling around him, but sometimes it was hard to read him, which made it harder for her to know how to respond. “Can I sit?”

[dohtml]<div class='postcolor'> <center><div style="width:350px; text-align:justify; font-size:11px; color:#000; line-height:100%; padding-top:2px;">“It’s amazing. Though the most amazing part is that Groupon basically saved me like more than half of what it would regularly cost.” This was one of their higher end suites. So it was well above $400 a night regularly priced. Julie smiled and shook her head. “It’s okay. I’ll just relish in the fact that it was said once.” Julie turned her back to him. She could feel his hands against her skins as he worked on untying the knots of her bathing suit top. “True, especially since the water is a good temperature. I might be a little skeptic had the water been freezing cold.” Thankfully, that hadn’t been the case though. Julie smiled as she felt his hands at her sides, pulling her closer to him. When he leaned in to kiss her, her eyes instinctively closed, returning the kiss. Her hands relaxed on the back of his neck as she enjoyed the moment. Whenever he touched her or kissed her, he made her feel alive. He made her feel special. The way he looked at her with that desire and that fire, it made her feel sexy and wanted. Something she wasn’t sure if she’d ever feel, but she was glad she had gotten to with Grant. “Thank you for agreeing to this. It’s just what I needed. It’s been really hard not being able to act on the urges, because of the circumstances…” e.

It had been a little over a month since she and Grant had their little bonding experience and from there it seemed to grow. The two of them had gone out one night for drinks. A few mai tais and the girl was on the bar. She didn’t drink often which was why it hadn’t taken very many for her to get drunk. She remembered kissing him. She remembered trying to discretely sneak him into her place even though she lived alone. It was all wonderful..Until she woke up the next morning realizing what had happened. She was sure she was not only going to hell, but she was gonna lose her job as well. After she freaked out for about a moment, the two of them talked.
She still felt bad though. Even though he said that he had no feelings for his wife and she none for him, it seemed wrong to her. That wrong feeling hadn’t been enough to sway her. She felt herself having to pull herself together at work, especially when she had to do stuff for him. She knew that hell would break loose if anyone found out which was why she knew they had to be careful. She used her points to check them into one of the Best Western Plus hotels. It was about 25 miles away from Savannah Hills so she hoped that would give them some cover room for now.
She grabbed the key from the front desk woman and headed upstairs. She hit the ‘3’ and waited for the doors to close. A few moments later they swung back open and she headed out an d towards the right and down the hall until she reached the door with the numbers ‘315’ across it. She opened the door and smiled at the sight. It was definitely a nice room. They’d be in for quite a fun filled weekend.

[dohtml]<div class='postcolor'> <center><div style="width:350px; text-align:justify; font-size:11px; color:#000; line-height:100%; padding-top:2px;">Every day Julie woke up telling herself that today would be better than the day before and every night, Julie went to bed feeling as though she had lied to herself. Her alarm had gone off and she went through her daily routine. Shower, got dressed, breakfast with juice and coffee. Once she was nourished, she was out the door. She hated living so far away from work. She had to leave so early just to make it to work on time and just to avoid the traffic. Jules made a mental list of the things she needed to do today. She had picked up Lisa’s dry cleaning. She stopped off and grabbed some donuts for the crew.
Once she had gotten to the building, she parked in the end space and walked towards the door. She headed inside, greeting the people she past, most of them ignored her as usual. She was an intern though, most people only saw her as their way of getting food and coffee. She placed the donuts down and made the coffee. The rest of her day was a series of errands. She had made copies of the info that the morning news crew would need. The janitor was cleaning up and once he had left, she was pretty much all alone. She tapped her pencil against the table before turning to look back at the newscast desk.
‘No. I couldn’t possibly’, she thought to herself. Of course, the devil on her shoulder was telling her otherwise. After a few back and forth debates with herself, she got up and sat behind the desk. She adjusted the chair and aimed towards the camera. “Good evening, this is Julie Callahan here, with your evening news. In breaking news, a devastating discovery has been made in the world of medicine. Those who are meant to safe our lives are actually taking advantage of us. Several women have reported that they were sexually assaulted by a paramedic while in en route to the hospital.” She paused, shaking her head and relaxed against the chair.
