This would be the year. The year their team would go further than they had before. The year where they got a chance at the superbowl. A chance to be champions. As a football player, all you want to do was play your best game and have something to show for it and that was what Greg wanted as well. He had finished up his breakfast and had washed his dishes before he headed back to his room. He showered, changed, and got himself ready for the day ahead.
<p>
He didn’t really have much planned, then again, he never really did. He always liked to see where his days would take him. He had gotten a text that a few of his friends were going to head to the beach to play some volleyball. He texted them and told him he’d meet them there and made his way towards the beach. The game had started quickly and they were ahead by three points. Greg was going in for a hit when he felt himself crash back into someone. He quickly turned around, took his glasses off and bent down to help the person. “Are you okay Miss?”

[dohtml]<div class='postcolor'> <center><div style="width:350px; text-align:justify; font-size:11px; color:#000; line-height:100%; padding-top:2px;">Greg’s body jumped as he woke up hearing the sound of his ringtone blaring. He flipped the phone over and read the screen, seeing the name ‘Misty’. Did he know a Misty? He couldn’t recall and without a second thought, he sent the call to voicemail. He turned over on his pillow and laid there for a few more minutes. He got up and dragged himself to the bathroom. He started up the shower and got in, getting himself all nice and clean. He couldn’t believe it was like 3 in the afternoon. Well, considering he hadn’t gotten in until five this morning it probably shouldn’t have surprised him.
<p>
Greg needed to get himself going, clear his head and the best way he could think to do that was on a run. After getting out of the shower, he got dressed in a pair of jogging pants and a tank top. He put in his wireless headphones and found his playlist on his phone. Most of the stuff he listened to on a run was fast and upbeat so that he could keep his focus. Greg grabbed his keys and locked up before he started on his way. He ran down the path that led back towards the road. He punched the code into the gate and darted out and down the street. He knew he would need to keep his speed and strength up, especially if he wanted to have more playing time this upcoming season.
